Ahead of the release of their Clear Shot album, due 28 October on Heavenly Recordings, TOY have revealed a first single in the shape of 'I'm Still Believing'. Drawing on a wide range of influences - acid house to the Langley Schools Project and The Wickerman Soundtrack - the London five float along with whirring synth work towards a languid, infectious chorus; "So simple, so fine / She perfectly read my mind" coos vocalist Tom Dougall. The band are on tour across Europe in support of this second LP, with a London date at Brixton's Electric. We're still believing indeed. -G.O'B
